<p align="center"><strong>In keeping with YouthServe’s mission to <em>Empower Youth Leadership through Community Service</em>, the Community Action Coordinator is responsible for creating safe, fun and diverse environments for young people to serve in the community while developing leadership skills.</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Responsibilities: </span></p>
<ul>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Requirements: </span></p>

<li>Bachelor’s Degree</li>
<li>Knowledge of the Birmingham area, a plus</li>
<li>Experience working with young people</li>
<li>Work a 35-hour work week, including some nights and weekends</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal skills</li>
<li>Basic command of Microsoft Office, the Internet, and knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)</li>
<li>Must have an open-mind, enthusiasm, a willingness to affirm young people, and a positive attitude.</li>
</ul>
