YouthServe’s goal is to create the space and opportunity for diverse youth to grow in leadership and citizenry, while giving them the tools to guide them in the process.
Summer Service Ambassadors is a new partnership from YouthServe and Big City Mountaineers! This dynamic program that aspires to bring together service-minded youth, aged 13-18, from diverse backgrounds across the Birmingham metro region. Our mission is to provide a platform for these young leaders to deepen their connections with the community while actively addressing its needs through collaborative service projects and immersive outdoor camping expeditions. Community Service Days
During the school year, YouthServe hosts monthly community service days that are open to all youth ages 13 – 18. Advance registration is required. Youth will receive two to three hours of community service per event.
Summer Programs
In 2023, YouthServe introduced brand new expanded Summer Opportunities bringing together youth from all walks of life to serve and learn alongside one another in the heart of Birmingham. Click the link for more information and registration!
Leadership Opportunities
YouthServe provides year-round opportunities for in-depth, unique experiences in service and philanthropy through its two youth leadership councils, YAC and YPC. *2023-2024 Council applications are closed*
